Introduction

As per the Myers-Briggs self-assessment tool, I found that I possess ENTJ personality type. It means that I am analytical and objective, and desire to take the lead to have order in the world around me. Furthermore, I am found to be assertive and rejoice in taking charge and managing individuals and procedures to attain goals. 

Besides, I am ambitious and keen on attaining strength and influence. I excel at logical reasoning and am probably articulate and effective at perceiving on my feet. It further implies that I am a natural-born leader. Further, with this personality trait, I am attributed with an often-hard level of practicality, utilizing their stimulation, determination, and strong mindsets to attain whatever end I have set for myself. It shows that I possess an assertive leadership behavior which allows me to express my views, notions, and expectations with my teams in an assured but considerate manner. 

Furthermore, I will be able to collaborate with the professionals at entire levels of the company with this style of leadership (Elyasi et al. 2023). 

According to this tool, I found my strengths in the areas of communicating with confidence, motive, and clarity; decisiveness; sympathy and support; sentimental fortitude; and ownership and responsibility. Being an ENTJ personality, I will have extraordinary communication competencies. I will be able to articulate my objectives and visions with clarity without any confusion. Furthermore, I can express my views with a motive to encourage others to work toward a mutual vision. I will also be able to take complete possession and responsibility for my decisions and behaviors. I will also be able to admit my mistakes learn from them and set an example for my team (Anggreini and Saputra 2020).

 While leading a team at my future workplace, I will be able to show sympathy and offer assistance to my team members. With this, I will comprehend the relevance of developing robust relations, listening proactively, and providing direction. I can develop a work culture wherein people feel appreciated and supported, contributing to greater workforce gratification and efficiency. With a just and balanced strategy, I possess the capability to hold my team members responsible and positively address underperformance. Such strength can facilitate me to preserve higher norms and certify the entire success of the team. 

Apart from my strengths with the ENTJ personality type, I also have weaknesses and developmental needs with this leadership approach. It might be possible that my robust nature somehow made me inflexible in my strategies of activities. Even though a superior alternative might progress, I might be inclined to stick to the schedules that I have already chosen. Being an assertive leader, I might prefer my ideas for decision-making, and ardently disregard others' input. Therefore, I need to develop my transformational leadership skills to consider the viewpoints of each and everyone on my team. I need to build inspirational motivation competencies so that I can be able to converse my vision and call up an intense response from my followers. Besides, I need to develop individualized consideration skills to nurture the spirit of cooperation and teamwork in the workplace (Chebon et al. 2019).

Further, since I typically see the large picture, I might omit vital details in my plans. Due to this certain people in the team might not comprehend my vision. Besides, my ambitious and task-driven viewpoints might be considered autocratic by others which can push individuals away from me. Sometimes, I might overlook the feelings and desires of others in the process of fulfilling the objectives, perceiving them as secondary to the fulfillment of the activity.

Regarding specific development needs from the analysis, it can be said that I need to enhance my emotional intelligence competencies. To do so, I need to increase my self-awareness abilities. Given addressing this developmental need, I carried out a developmental event of reading in the library. The benefits of reading are in the form of its strength to improve an individual's emotional intelligence. This concept deals with the capability to identify, comprehend, and handle my sentiments and others' emotions in social circumstances (Alzoubi and Aziz 2021).

I decided to work on my self-development to become better and challenge myself to acquire as much as I can on my journey to being the best. I perceive that reading as a developmental activity can assist me with self-development and innovations and offers a viewpoint into handling complex situations and changes. It can further be said that my experience with reading books in the library helps me with improving my self-image, outlook, and memory. Also, this developmental activity will assist me in developing my social skills which enable me to comprehend other individuals' sentiments and respond suitably (Frolova et al. 2019).

It is said that reading not only provides delightful academic content but also challenges me to visualize life via other individuals' views, surging my empathetic competencies. By becoming emotionally intelligent, I will be able to be better at teamwork, solving conflicts, and managing stress successfully (Jordan and Troth, 2021). It can hence contribute to a more fruitful and constructive workplace setting. Also, by comprehending my sentiments and those of others, I can superiorly focus, converse, and solve conflicts. It can contribute to healthy and more gratifying relations. To improve my empathetic behavior, I will practice listening with empathy that needs me to recognize, admit, and understand that I am doing the right thing I can and so are others. I will also pay attention to others' body language and keep an open mind (Papoutsi et al. 2021).
