Mr. McGee was sipping tea beneath his spreading apple tree, when up above him in the sky a big black cloud came floating by 

Mr. McGee was drinking tea and here spreading apple tree means its long branches that was spread all over covering the ground with its shade and the same time the black clouds covered the sky and it rained. 

Hand gestures with open arms and rolling eyes. Hand movement in the air expressing trees and clouds. A walking body posture defining the interest of children. 

Quite soon he found he was afloat

Here we are talking about Mr. McGee and afloat describes the water that was filled in the area where he was sitting and this kind of made a river which made McGee float in the water. 

Making hand movement as if floating water. The body movement was also going in coordination to the hand. The eyes were wide open seeing all the corners.

Here when McGee is inside the stomach of monster fish he was trying hard to get out and fumbled means he was trying to find or take hold of something with his hands in a nervous manner. He was scared and wanted to get out of that monster’s stomach anyhow. 

Big wide opened eyes with hand gestures in the air making a circle depicting the monster’s stomach. Fingers making movements trying to connect with the children and make the statement interesting. The leg movement to show the struggle of the character. 

Stabbing and Jabbing to get out 

This statement is connected with the struggle of McGee as he is in the monsters stomach. Stabbing here means poking the stomach or any other area of the monster with his umbrella that was pointed so that the monster gets uncomfortable and opens his mouth. Jabbing here also is also a way of struggle where in the following context McGee was pushing and trying to get out of the stomach with the help of rough and pointed umbrella that he was pushing roughly on the skin of the monster. 

The head movement right to left with fear and thrill expression in the eyes looking through 180 degrees and at times rolling 360 degree to point out the size. The right and left hand demonstrating the size of the monster and the struggle of McGee. The fingers pointing out to show the point of umbrella and giving an example on a children’s back slowly to show the practical nature of vocabulary. The facial expressions changes with the tone of the statement.

The little fish gave a little cry, “Oo!Oo!Oo! I have swallowed a fly

Then his huge mouth formed a spout and shot the tiny creature out 

In the following sentence the little cry means an expression of uneasiness. Little cry can be said as when a person or any living being feels uncomfortable with the situation and gives an expression of cry. Here in the sentence why the fish did gave a cry? This is because he swallowed McGee who according to fish was small in size compared to the fish and for the fish it seemed as a fly and the fish felt uneasiness in his throat and stomach as humans do feel uneasy when by mistake a fly enters the mouth. Here fly means McGee because fish was bigger in size as compared to McGee. 

What is a spout? A spout is the physical movement and shape of the lips and mouth that allows any living being to throw out something from the mouth. 

Who is the tiny creature here? Tiny creature here is referred to McGee who is inside the mouth of the fish and he is compared to a fly, he is struggling inside to get out and pushing and pointing things inside which is making the fish uneasy and the fish makes a expression of mouth and lips round and throws McGee out of his stomach with force. This is the time when the spout was made by the fish and McGee comes out of the fish stomach flying in the air. 

Facial expression of a cry and coughing to show uneasiness when something is stuck inside the mouth and stomach and is pinching from inside. Closing eyes to feel the crying expression and hand gesture to show the size of the McGee in comparison to the fish. 

The expression of lips and mouth changing into the spout to show the practical nature of the word and bending down a little to put force and throw out something from the mouth. A demonstration can be done by any small food item in the mouth and throwing it out. Both hands gesture to show McGee flying in the air when he comes out of the fish.

Brolly is another word for an Umbrella, here the ability to understand the sentence is connected to McGee and the rain. While he was having tea it started raining and McGee within no time opened his umbrella so that he does not get wet in the rain. As soon as the droplets of rain started to fall down he opened up the umbrella so that he does not get wet. 

The following sentence is referred to whom and why? 

This sentence is referred to McGee as he feels warm and dry due to the umbrella even when it’s raining. Jolly here means happiness, McGee is feeling happy that he has an umbrella that can protect him from the rain and he won’t get wet. McGee is very happy and the expression is that he feels comfortable and relaxed because in middle of nowhere the rain came and he had an umbrella that helped him to be warm and dry because if did not had an umbrella he would have felt cold and wet. This is why he is so happy and rela
