Use of credible source can create positive impact and can back up writing with relevant evidence. This use of credible source can help the readers to check my work for ethical and read my work to support argument provided. Personal experiences are not highly valued as opinion is only acknowledged when it has a reliable source to verify the same. As an academic student, it is important to use credible academic source as readers can trustfully mark article and it will support my understanding of the unit and enhance my professionalism. The use of evidence that is not established as credible information will put the claim made by me as plausible. As tertiary learner in university to present research without plagiarism and correct referencing, I will outline information that is genuine and fact checked. According to Metzger (2007), the information to assess credibility regarding internet based source has shown that it has lasting impact on readers. The availability of information in today’s time, tertiary learner should ensure that opinion and knowledge determined is backed up by credible source. Metzger (2007) described the intent of credibility that user experience while using internet search casually and looking for verified link and credible information depends on the motivation of reader.

Answer 2- It will be important for me to use credible source for my career as it will strengthen my program as marketing manager in conducting research. As a researcher, it is necessary for me to use ethical and credible source while sharing resource with readers. As a marketing manager using credible source will provide confidence in my readings and present arguments during teaching when discussing with clients. Spending quality time on researching material through website, journal articles and books will help me create a structured program. Majorly readers rely on the lecturer for credible content while researching information online. Using documents with poor format and errors in the content will adversely impact my professional career. The authors credential is verified through the qualification mentioned. The two have helped to develop understanding of communicating online. The website and article are the two posts that have enabled me to understand accuracy and reliability. The information on the website can be verified, in the case of article the objectivity states that the opinion are personal and account for author’s opinion. It has shaped me to develop understanding of Metzger criteria of communicating online on source motive and critical evaluation skill to check the currency and accuracy of information while researching. Seeking more than one resource to verify the article across website as corroboration was not executed by me for information research earlier. The two literally sources discuss the impact of artificial intelligence in transformation of the world with respect to work. The source by journal article is more credible as it is structured with comprehensive details like Metzger stressed on the information and negative consequence involved with misinformation online. Artificial intelligence with emergence in technology will be powerful and for career growth as it will help in managing human machine interactions as future measure shown in article. The decision support system through AI will help in understanding the application in research by data calculation and better evaluating of secondary research in my career as marketing manager (Lu, 2019). AI will help in commercialization of new projects which will be beneficial for calculation of trend and understanding human behavior. This will help me my every day work on consumer purchase and purchase recommendation to design algorithms according to the data gathered for more outreach and connectivity with my clients. The article by Marr(2020) was not descriptive and the external link connect us to his other articles whose academic credibility cannot be verified with link to personal opinion in the article with ad display on the page. The article can be edited by the contributor and reference and cannot be counted as reliable. The motivation factors play a critical role while credibility assessment as sports and leisure information search will differ from academic research search.

Metzger (2007) in his criteria of evaluation is centric to availability of information and option of believability by evaluating the textual elements, presence of information such as author and publication data and the characteristics of graphic that shows well-structured in journal article as a credible source.
