1. The first image is of laceration wound which can be attributed to blunt force trauma to the affected body part like free fall, the impact of which can cause tearing of skin and lead to exposure of muscles. A lacerated wound is described in terms of location with the nearest bony landmark with measurement of length and width and the description of the base. The healing of the wound is described by the edges whether it is sloping or rounded with the type of drainage. From the picture, it is seen that the wound is on the dorsal side of the hand, it healing as there is granulation tissue and has serosanguinous drainage.
2. The second photo is also blunt trauma without the cut in the skin and there is clotting of blood in the dermis. It is located on the ventral surface of the upper arm and more likely cause is blunt force like hitting. It has gradual healing once the flow of the blood becomes normal and there is no visible drainage from the wound.
3. The third photo is of pressure wound which is caused by the application of too much pressure at one point of the body. The position of the wound is on the upper buttocks which are bright red showing the good blood flow. It is in the initial stage and if not treated can become ulcerated and there is no visible drainage from the wound.
