Should the Government spend more to "Close the Gap" for Indigenous Australians? Part a: What is your chosen position on this issue? I agree that there be more spending on the indigenous Australian people for their development to close the gap which has been created due to the atrocities created earlier. As not only from the citizen development, socialistic point of view, but also ethi8cally it’s important to give special treatment to the indigenes Australians so as to make them on the common denominator with the mainstream Australian people (Taylor et al., 2021). I am brought up in a culture with many prejudices about religion and different social classes. We were told in school about the castes and professional classes and how to remain enclosed in the same class and culture. But I have noticed different social values of different people, and socio-economic status biases (Taylor et al., 2021). Recognition of one's own and other's cultural nuances and the ability of the individuals to use academic and interpersonal skills for accepting cultural differences and diversity can improve teamwork significantly at the workplace which allows high input from different sources. We as school children have encountered several occasions where we have seen that the indigenous people are not considered equal to the Australian mainstream citizen which is their bone of contention. Thus I can conclude that there are still disparities in our society which are needed to be eliminated and that the effect of those disparities has definitely left and is leaving a scar on the aboriginal people. From coordination between people, it is currently competition between the people of the same country which I think is detrimental for our country. I support the green party because environment saving and being close to nature is not only important but also essential for the people and for their good. Regarding the economic and political ideology, I am more intended toward the right because I think the left does not have a good and structured ideology for the economic development of a nation. I have seen numerous examples in countries where the left ideology has left them with a lack of resources and economic recession. Economic stability is the primary need of any society and thus liberal party is preferable. LNP is closest to my chosen position. I have learned that various issues can be expressed in terms of the social and capital preferences of an individual when giving this vote compass. however, I do think the vote compass efficiently places the preferences of a person on the correct path as I support the green cause but they have placed the green party on far left. However, the issues and the parties are not exactly driven by the people's preferences and they have to choose what is offered by the political parties. A. The effect of the money that is spent on the aboriginals and Torres strait islander people on the basic amenities has not produced good results and the society overall is not gaining a considerable amount of socioeconomic support due to spending on indigenous people (Freeman & Staley, 2018). The recent data shows that the employment of the indigenous people outcomes have not improved over the last five years. Most of the expenditure on the mainstream services like education, disability support, and economical support has been gone in vain in terms of results. Every year the results of the closing the gap reports says that most of the targets of improvement in the health and education sectors are also most unlikely to be met. The government does not have a better understanding of the indigenous people and their lifestyles. Additionally, they do not want to mix up with mainstream society (Freeman & Staley, 2018). Currently, the government does not have a better understanding of the levels and patterns of expenditure on services that support indigenous Australians, and they must work on providing the policymakers with an additional tool to target policies that have more precise targets so they fill the gaps in indigenous disadvantages. In the earlier times the ministers in the parliament have reviewed the success of AEP addressed at aboriginals, and it was discovered that the scheme which was commissioned in 1992 has failed to attract the interests of aboriginals, though the school enrolment rate has increased but the disparity still existed and the policy changes are required to fundamentally change the culture of society to embrace all the religions which presently cannot be found in the society of Australia. Afterwards a national policy for aboriginals and Torres Strait people for the period of 1996 to 2002 and aimed at achieving 21 goals in sox years. The first argument is the strongest as it pays attention to why the funds are not working correctly and in expectations, and why those conditions should are required to be fulfilled before allotting funds for the socio-economic causes. This argument logically concludes as to why the spending must be stopped in its current form. Other factors include socioeconomic determinants, stress level, and support experienced by the family are also needed to be considered separately. Despite various initiatives over the years, unfortunately, the progress has been slow and schools in remote areas in the northern territory. But also having the engagement of the community, can lead to success and implementation of real change (AISNT, n.d.). This can be placed at the center because it is both accepted by right and left ideologies. As the common trait of both ideologies is the optimum development of the subjects and the citizens, and they are divided on the ways of achieving it. Thus political lobbying is a good idea for both ideologies. The preferred position is industrial lobbying. A highly varied economic policy on diverse avenues of production and services allows the Australian to better accept the diversity relating to culture and ethnicity. The immigrant policy has allowed the Australian people to explore their mindset on different races and a more culturally diverse environment is created. A person shall always reflect his positive perception of diversity regarding culture, races, and religions and at times can create an office environment where every religious occasion is celebrated and every idea specially attached to diversity is accepted. The last and illegal resort of social and illegal agitation with provoking speech will be at a time when the government will withdraw its policy to fund the socio-economic policies for aboriginals altogether based on the aforesaid arguments and reports. It is the ethical and social duty of the state f Australia to uplift the aboriginals as years of atrocities have been done on them, their lands, and their rights. Similarly, the state of India has provided various types of socio-economic reforms for the downtrodden caste in the country, including reservations in employment and education. The universal declaration on human rights declares that the inherent dignity of all the persons of human society can only be the foundation of freedom, justice, and peace. It says that human rights are universal and are o be enjoyed by everyone. These fundamental rights must be secured at the workplace for everyone (AISNT, n.d.). There is a basic difference between need and right. Where the need is the basic requirement for thriving n a society, a right is a recognition of the a person, by the virtue of his being a living being and a human, through which some basic rights must be entitled to him.
