Group Assignment on Sustainability

The planning of the group regarding the sustainability assignment went very well as all the core aspects were covered in the assignment. The members of the group worked in unison to analyze the impact of sustainability on various operations of the business along with the importance of the sustainability approach. Ensuring sustainability can incur cost in terms of compliance and associated liabilities all of which were effectively evaluated by the members of the assignment (BOQ, 2020). Different phases of the assignment involved rigorous research regarding the deep analysis of various reports. All the phases of the assignment required a different approach to completing the task.

All the team members were allocated different tasks and my role in all the phases was to critique the research extracted by the other members of the project. The things that pleased me about my performance were that I was able to analyze the literature through a systematic review where I had majorly relied upon the peer-reviewed articles and all the other relevant sources. In the future, I will try to work to make the other members understand authenticity and reliable research materials. My identified strength is to critic the extracted data to make the research more reliable. During the process of extracting data, I realize that I was getting panicked easily if the team were not able to extract the relevant data. Therefore I realize that I need more help with getting relaxed during the process of doing an assignment so that I can more focus on the role I was signed with. I will work upon my weakness of getting panic quickly during the assignment. So, therefore, I will start doing meditation before sitting for my role to get most focused and concentrated.

Conflicts can emerge where there is ineffective communication, so I would like the team to engage effectively to reduce as much as conflict as possible so that this will not waste the time for the process of the assignment completion. I got to understand the importance of sustainability that sustainability is not restricted only to the environment. On the other hand, sustainability is very important in terms of social sustainability as well as economic sustainability in regards to the organization (Kestin, 2020). For planning the sustainability assignment the members of the group had taken responsibility for each role assigned to the members. I observed that no member had any complaints regarding the respective roles assigned to them. This helped the completion of the assignment efficiently and effectively.
