Understanding Society

Coronavirus disease is a newly discovered disease and also known as COVID-19. The disease has been previously identified amongst the human being and it has been caused due to an outbreak of respiratory illness and was first detected in Wuhan, Hubei province, China. The disease has been in effect since December 2019, and is rapidly growing since then in the number of countries. Coronavirus is a widely spread disease amongst the humans and is raging from the common cold to severe illness and disease such as MERS (Middle East Respiratory Syndrome), and SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome). People who are affected and infected with coronavirus shall experience mid to moderated illness in respiratory system and may recover without any special treatment. People who are older in age suffering from corona are more likely to develop serious health issues and illness, they are advised to stay home and stay safe (McCabe, 2020).

Coronavirus has made the entire world suffer in every possible means, economically, physically, mentally and emotionally. The people those who have actually faced the pandemic are the poor and low-class people. People are advised to maintain social distance and social gap to stop the spread of COVID-19 therefore, the health has been determined through the complex mixture of the factors of including the income, employment and housing, every individual lifestyle to process the health care services and other daily use services (Chiou, & Tucker, 2020). There are certain inequalities in the groups of society regarding the concern of health and fitness. Inequalities are not casual or random, there is a factor of social in equality in society as the social gradient, refers to the factor that inequality in the status of health amongst the population is directly related to the social status. Further this paper shall define the means of inequality and social changes due to the COVID-19. The study also advances the facts and tests the model of the relationships between primary and secondary terms of determinants of the social inequality and gradient in health. The areas of neighborhood with the facilities and financial background typically have the low life and disability-free expectancy. Such relationship has formed the part of the health inequalities with an important influence over the lives of poor and needy (Buck, Maguire, 2020).

COVID-19 if fundamentally changing the community and the social life worldwide. Social distancing in every public place has been made mandatory and compulsory as this is the only way yet to stop the spread of COVID-19, places like clubs, pubs, movie hall, cafes, and furthermore are closed and sealed as they can be reason of the support and spread of the disease in vast, and cause effect in the entire humanity (Prof. Andrejevic, 2020). As the spread of COVID-19 is across the world the countries like Unites States and United kingdoms can see and face grim daily, the number of death cases have been in large and broken the geography, sex, age, and death tallies. Such things have made people liable for the growth of coronavirus and so the matter of social distancing have been a major reason for the changes in the society and inequalities amongst the people. People those who have a strong financial background are able to fight the disease by having the daily basic need but the one who is not even having a place to live have to struggle a lot to serve and feed its family. Such discrimination on providing the basic need of an individual has become a major and challenging part for the government of very state.

People are not only dying from disease but from hunger and demotivation of getting food to eat. The society has been facing a drastic change amongst each other, as people have stopped stepping out of the houses, no public gathering, no get together and no greeting to anybody (Dr. Neves,2020). An example for the social inequality is that the African Americans are unable to access the regular medical care facilities as the reason is poverty, because they are more likely to live in the society of neighbourhood where fresh selling market, or any other source of nutritious food is unavailable and the result for the same is that they are facing the symptoms of the coronavirus. Such inequality is in entire world therefore, people those who do not have any source of living left and are stuck in different places or states are most likely to cause suicide as they are helpless and are suffering more than the disease.

Coronavirus widespread have made people homeless and jobless. No job amounts to no financial strength and so an individual who is not able to survive the era of pandemic is causing suicide (Prassl, Boneva, Golin, & Rauh. 2020). The global pandemic COVID-19 has put restrictions on everyday life of the entire world. Entire world is thinking how to keep the citizens of the particular country safe, especially the woman and the children. If the results of economic crises are combined and risk on the women and the children cannot be avoided and ignored. In the country where women are killed due to the violence of men and children are killed by their parents on one fortnight, COVID-19 is nothing but the cherry on the top. Where an idea of social distancing is boon for the society, on the other hand it has created the social differences and social inequality amongst the people. This situation of coronavirus on the entire world has become the crises on the lives of the people and the most suffered category id the poor and labour class, which is the proof of the real suffering of COVID-19 (Prof. Wright, 2020).

A disease which have been spread in the entire humanity have been in effect since December 2019, and the place which was in major affect was Wuhan, Hubei province, China. It got a rapid boost in spreading by not maintain social distance and not understanding the cause of coronavirus. The situation of the world is on the edge of getting extinct as the disease has overlapped the entire world and every state is suffering from the pandemic. This has caused nothing but have changed the society and have also given rise to the social inequality. Not everyone is able and capable to afford the treatment and people those who belong to low status are the real sufferers.
