Introduction

Armed conflict and war have a significant impact on not just individual children but also entire family systems. The difficulties of evacuation, escape, migration, and resettlement under new circumstances aggravate the effects of conflict. Programs and interventions for mental health must take into account the particular requirements of people, families, and communities.These requirements are fulfilled with the help of social workers. This assignment evaluates the statement given by Dumbo “all social workers need to work toward the goals of valuing difference, supporting the oppressed, and opposing war”. 

Discussion of the Given Statement

Two broad senses are there in which the concept of citizen s understood with reference to political and social issues. The first one focuses on social exclusions to understand the social exclusions and marginalisation. The second concept is related with the governance and the maintenance of social cohesion, focussing on how the migration which is the result of many events is pushing people on the verge of socio-economic disparity (Carson, n.d. pp-340). The role of social worker must be attached with fundamental Kantian ethics that state and governments are made for the welfare of people and under no condition shall they are excluded. It is job and business ethics of a social worker that they provide utmost policy advocacy and sort to the war torn people and migrants and must make a framework of their socio cultural and economical inclusion. 

It has been identified that social workers play a vital role in wars and conflicts. They have been assigned with various responsibilities for accomplishment of goals and objectives related to the war being conducted. Social workers support refugees and internally displaced individuals in settlements and camps. They give people a somewhere to live, offer social services such as therapy to help trauma victims, gather resources for victims, and make sure that children and other vulnerable persons who have lost their family are protected. They support hospital transfer plans and aid in family reunion. Social workers should be included in hospital emergency plans in conflict and battle zones, and emergency plans for social services in local communities or camps for internally displaced people should also be prepared.

Religion continues to be a powerful societal influence both on and off the battlefield, while being largely neglected by international relations researchers until the 21st century. It has an impact on how soldiers mobilise and get ready for battle. control their tactics, including the organisation of their units and their strategic judgments (Dombo, 2022). Additionally, how and when warriors seek peace are influenced by their religious identities, beliefs, practises, and symbols.The invasion of Ukraine by Russian forces was observed by the entire globe on February 24, 2022. The history of the Soviet Union is a major topic of discussion when examining the causes of this war. Many Social employees work to promote peace and support individuals impacted by geopolitical unrest (Negmatov, 2022). All social workers must continue the conversation about religion and spirituality, tolerate one another's differences, and strive toward the objective of speaking out against the suppressed war in light of the conflict in Ukraine.

Since 2014, Ukraine has experienced widespread violence and armed conflict, in which civilians have been used as either prime targets or unintentional collateral damage. They precipitate crises that include widespread internal migrations of people, disabled veterans, and bereaved families. Armed conflict has also prompted debate about the nature of societal ideals, tolerance, and welfare. The nation's social services policies, including their obligations and level of professionalism. The difficulties posed by this and other pertinent contextual issues have, in fact, been addressed through social work.The fact that migration violates human social ecology, leading to poverty, social exclusion, an increase in the danger of violence, the creation of psychological "dependency," etc., gives rise to paradigms of empowerment and inclusion. Therefore, social work interventions should be based on mobilising individuals and communities and upholding their rights through public policy. Nevertheless, there is a critical need for organisational, legal, and human development in the public social services system (Ben Shlomoand Levin-Keini, 2021). The public social service system's key problems include its disjointed organisation, predominance of fixed placements, and inconsistent treatment of particular clientele groups. This can be reflected in the works of (Carson, n.d. pp-346), when he says that citizenship discourse can be very useful for the analysis of social exclusions which is being currently faced by the Iranian people as they are increasingly moving to the neighbour countries. This must be analysed in the areas of immigration resettlement and implications of that on their human rights. 

Another inference can also be made that explored and easy citizenship rules on the sole basis of nationality or ethics are less important than welcoming and giving citizenship to the immigrants who are on the verge of economical-mental collapse. In 2014-15 the number of Australian born overseas was 6.7 million and this proportion is increasing continuously for the preceding 15 years (Carson, n.d. pp-347). When the immigrants socially the war and confect immigrants re taken into consideration, such humane perspective is not made by states. This is required to be pondered upon under the citizenship discourse. 

Those who organised social assistance for internally displaced people in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions should take into account the sociological peculiarities of these areas. Both have high rates of drug usage, TB, HIV/AIDS, and other diseases. Due to this, people have been forced to receive methadone replacement therapy, TB treatment, or antiretroviral medications without receiving proper medical assistance. They were forced to flee to an area under government authority as a result (Nisanci et al., 2020). In Crimea, where all harm reduction programmes were outlawed following its annexation by Russia, the same was true for patients receiving methadone replacement therapy. Internally displaced people in makeshift communities receive psychological and medical support from the National Emergency Service of Ukraine and volunteers from non-governmental (voluntary) groups.In addition, the State Labour Service of Ukraine offers information services, creates and manages a database of job openings, plans specialist training sessions and seminars, and increases the employability of persons over 45 everywhere. 

Conclusion

Social workers provide assistance to displaced people living in settlements and camps, including refugees. They provide people with a place to reside, social services including treatment for trauma victims, resource gathering for victims, and protection for children and other vulnerable people who have lost their families.Debate over the nature of societal ideals, tolerance, and welfare has also been sparked by armed war. the obligations and level of professionalism of the country's social services.
