Analysis of The Process of Globalization in Australia

The fact cannot be denied that undoubtedly the process of globalization has resulted in doing worse in Australia than any good. The increase in the process of globalization had also increased the amount and types of crimes committed in the territory of Australia. There are various examples of crimes occurring in Australia like drug trades, online hacking, cybercrime issues related to identity theft, etc. Apart from this, various terrorists have been suspected after the rise in the process of globalization in Australia. The major identified reason behind all the new crimes triggering in the country is the merging of various global threats. Globalization had led contemporary society to preoccupy themselves with a variety of transnational threats (Ghosh, Robertson & Robitaille, 2016).

The 2005 London attacks and the September 11th American attacks had concluded the fact that the Americans had expressed the sense of global solidarity in a way of sharing the feeling of vulnerability and fear with other Western capitals. The major implication of globalization is a transnational crime which is increasing the concerns of security for the country. The 19/11 episode is conclusive evidence to highlight the increase in the awareness regarding the risk in this society which is at a global platform. Therefore it is the need of an hour to work on the issues of mutual interconnections to address the vulnerability of science triggering from globalization.

It is important to understand that the social space is not restricted to the physical space but it has extended to a general trait of modernity. The process of globalization had intensified social relations by creating a theory of global village all across the world. It can be said that the role of newly formed Modern National State had transformed under the blanket of global transformations. The withering of state had triggered the need for governance of security and crime in the country by increasing the surveillance of the criminal justice system.

The increase in crimes is global inequality in the contemporary world. The development is due to globalization is inclusive of deviance and crime. The feeling of social exclusion, relative deprivation, and disintegration from communal life is the major cause behind the risk and increase in crime in Australia. The government of Australia must mistake reasonable steps to neutralize and manage the diverse risk by providing social justice in society. It is important to understand that crime extends to historical, political, and social signs of progress.
