Clinical reasoning and decision-making are the mechanisms of thought and techniques that the nurses use to interpret knowledge and distinguish between options to recognize medical issues in consideration for medical diagnosis and evaluation of findings and treatments in clinical practice (Hawkins et al., 2019).
