In the case study provided, the ASQ organization has been observed to utilize and apply the systems of lean six sigma methodology along with the conceptualization of Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBoK) to streamline and improve the efficiency and quality of organizational processes (Bondarenko et al., 2018).
In order to support the interest of change management in any business process given an efficient PLC model to encourage the attainment of lean six sigma principles is of crucial importance (Holetn et al., 2019). Involvement of Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBoK)’s five stages viz. initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and controlling in the overall process of change management in the process and overall organizational context has a great deal of vitality as it provides with the following advantageous factors to the business practices (Varajao et al., 2017).
